The 35th Annual Telluride Jazz Celebration will take place August 5-7. Thousands of people will descend upon the scenic mountain town to enjoy the very best in jazz, funk, blues and soul music. For those of you not able to make the trip to Telluride this year, the festival promoters are pleased to announce that many of the performances from the weekend will be broadcast live.
The online broadcast will begin at 1:30MDT on Friday August 5 with the 2011 Telluride Band Contest winners, Springdale Quartet. Other highlights include 10-time Grammy® winner Paquito D’Rivera, Michael Kaeshammer and The Bad Plus. In addition to at least ten live sets, interviews from several of the artists will be broadcast live throughout the weekend.
