2011 Telluride Jazz Fest Live Stream + Interviews [August 5-7]!

The 35th Annual Telluride Jazz Celebration will take place August 5-7. Thousands of people will descend upon the scenic mountain town to enjoy the very best in jazz, funk, blues and soul music. For those of you not able to make the trip to Telluride this year, the festival promoters are pleased to announce that many of the performances from the weekend will be broadcast live.

FYI - 2011 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition & Gala Concert Tickets on Sale Now!

On Monday, September 12, jazz lovers and supporters will gather to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.!

Event hosts Herbie Hancock, Phylicia Rashad, and Billy Dee Williams will honor Aretha Franklin with the Institute's 2011 Maria Fisher Founder's Award.

Miles Davis fans, we need your help! We are creating an album of the Miles music you "Like". For the month of August, check Miles Davis' official Facebook page to listen to tracks and 'vote' by "Liking" the tracks you want to hear on the new album set for release in September - the songs with the most "Likes" will be included in this release.  

Additionally, we need help naming the album AND creating the cover artwork. Please send us your album title submissions and your artwork submissions to be reviewed. 

Miles Davis Facebook fans will have the opportunity to vote on the album title and cover art submitted by YOU to be included in the forthcoming release!
