Conversations with The New Gary Burton Quartet on "Common Ground" (Videos)

In this quickie post, you get to see the members of the new Gary Burton Quartet expound briefly on working with one another and their individual contributions to the new album Common Ground. 

Vibraphonist Gary Burton talks about what jazz great influenced his style of being a leader. Julian Lage (guitar) shares about how much of a tremendous influence Gary Burton has been on his approach to improvising and about his original intentions for the song Etude. Drummer Antonio Sanchez chats about his two contributions to the album - the title track Common Ground and Did You Get It? And Scott Colley (bass) lets us know how Never The Same Way came together on the first morning of rehearsals.
