Cool post and a great idea! It's always nice to get lead time on when major artists are coming to town, and many clubs don't do a very good job doing that... kudos!
David!
YAY! Thanks for checking it out. There's some tweaking to be done but I have a better idea of how to get a handle on all the information flowing on the Web.

This is great news about Philly (its my hometown too!) I grew up in West Oak Lane, so it blows me away that they have a free festival of this magnitude! YOu are doing a great job with your website/blog. Very informative!
Hi Jazzdiva!
I know, can you believe it re: West Oak Lane? Rep Dwight Evans has a lot to do with the growing prominence of the Jazz and Art Festival.
It's sad that there isn't an event called "The Philadelphia Jazz Festival". Comcast Corp has supported jazz festivals in other parts of the country in the past. I don't know why someone in their Community Relations department doesn't think that have a Philly JF would be beneficial.
Ehhh...
Thank you for visiting and checking out the website. I am honored. :)
