Presented once again by The Pizza Express Jazz Club, ReVoice! 2012 is also collaborating with international producers, ESIP, on two concerts by the incredible Raul Midón and Tuck & Patti at The Union Chapel, Time OutVenue of the Year.
The sensational Gregory Porter will open ReVoice! 2012 with two shows on Friday, 12 October! These ReVoice! dates are most likely Gregory’s last London shows this year so demand for tickets will be very high. Other highlights include the long-awaited return of Jhelisa Anderson; ex-Basie powerhouse Jamie Davis; the ever-lauded Liane Carroll, and the UK debuts of rising stars, Becca Stevens Band and astonishing acapella group, Mycale, performing the music of founder/composer, John Zorn.
ReVoice! is a Festival within a Festival. Georgia's boundless imagination and commitment to the art of improvisation see her paired with some of the greatest players on the UK scene. This year, her impressive collaborators are: Jason Rebello, Jim Hart, Laurence Cottle, Phil Robson, Andrew Cleyndert, John Parricelli, Grant Windsor, Pete Churchill, Mark Hodgson and Gareth Lockrane, and together they will create an entirely different musical experience every night.
