May 9, 2013 at 11:00 PM I can't wait to get my copy of People Music next week - it's the latest CD from the talented group of musicians known collectively as Inside Straight. Check out Christian McBride as he talks about getting together again with the core members of Inside Straight, the new members pianist Christian Sands and drummer Ulysses Owens Jr, and wanting to play "no frills, all acoustic, swinging straight ahead jazz". Vibraphonist Warren Wolf is set to perform at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola in New York City on Monday, January 16 with sets at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Although he has formerly performed as a sideman at the prestigious jazz club, this performance will mark his debut as a leader at the venue and will be in support of his new self-titled album, available on Mack Avenue Records.
