Jazz bassist/composer Kyle Eastwood performs two nights at Jazz Alley next month in support of his new album The View From Here (Jazz Village, Street Date - March 12).

Eastwood embraces a musical heritage that goes back to the soundtrack of his youth, when he not only listened to Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Miles Davis, but also went backstage at concerts with his famous father to meet all these great artists.

(Check out an earlier Eastwood performance recorded in Marciac, FR)

Christian McBride, Benny Green & Karriem Riggins - 1 Hour+ Ray Brown Tribute (video)

There is over 1 hour of live music here performed by some of today's most in demand jazz musicians ~ Enjoy!

Thereafter he toured for several years as the music director for Ella Fitzgerald, who was his wife at the time.
