The MAXJAZZ string series is pleased to present bassist and composer Ben Wolfe and his new recording From Here I See. The recording features all original compositions presented in a standard jazz quartet format. Most of the compositions are ballads combining the quartet with a string quartet. A number of compositions also feature special guests. Ben has been an integral part of bands led by a who’s who of jazz artists including Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall and Wynton Marsalis. He also is a faculty member at The Juilliard School.
